I regularly stop getting some food in this place. I enjoy the rapid service and well made food. Keep it up.

I have been here twice since the new owners took over. If I could give it less than 1 star, I would. Service is terrible. Takes 30 minutes or more just to get drinks. For a simple dinner it took close to 4 hours. No joke. There were only 4 of us, and we got served our dinner (protein portions) and our vegetables came out as we were finishing. Vegetables were cold, soggy and full of garlic. Potatoes were cold. And what is with the bizarre menu? Indian food, Pizza? Come on! This was a great place before they sold. Very disappointed, won't be returning.

Ever since the seventies one of my favorite places for lunch and dinner. Took my sister there for her favorite Sandwich and I had the half pound swiss burger. Excellent as usual and Starr was a wonderful server!!!

Not like it used to be. Sub-par service tonight. Long wait for food. Prime rib was so-so. Waiter not attentive. Should have spent the $100 elsewhere.

We threw my mom a surprise 60th birthday party here Saturday and all the food, was very good! The catfish i loved it. All the staff , servers, and the manager Mark was very nice and took care of all our needs.

The greeter was extremely prompt and polite. The outdoor table was in a great location to enjoy the live band. There were seven occupied tables of the twenty set up. 31 July 2020 (6:45-8:30 pm). After sitting for about eight minutes, watching the wait staff visit the table to my left, right and behind me to socialize with patrons, I asked one of the servers if he was taking orders. He responded “I can (but didn’t) ... I’ll get your waitress.”The french onion soup was delicious, and the loaded fries were okay, but the most annoying thing was that the waitress did not come to check on me once on her own. I had to summon her three times. 1. The rolls were old2. Ketchup, additional napkins3. Drink menu (she came to take my order 25 minutes later). I did not order a drink. I was “too” over the bad service.

The Food was Excellent !!! Everything was seasoned to perfection. I had the grilled pork chops and baked fall off the bone chicken...You can taste the Grillness of the pork chops which I loved and the staff was very polite ,humble and friendly..I will be going back soon..5☆☆☆☆☆ Rating ..👍🏾👍🏾👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

A nice old style above average restaurant. Good for an intimate dinner or a small group of family or friends. Would recommend reservations during popular times.

The food was horrible. Ordered fried Chicken. They told me a 15 wait. The chicken was cold and taste like it was fried in fish grease.

I had the baked Walleye, my wife had the ribs and our friends had pepper steak and salmon. Food was delicious, served hot as it should be and the service was also very good. The complimentary dessert for our anniversary was greatly appreciated. Thanks.

The food was good. The service was sub-par. The bingo games they started during our meal was extremely annoying, and intrusive. Bingo is meant to be at a VFW hall not a resturant

My son ordered take out for me today. I was appalled at how tasteless it was. It was suppose to be ham, mashed potatoes with gravy and mixed vegetables. I would have been embarrassed to serve it to anyone. In addition, I observed that none of the workers inside had on protective masks or gloves. No protection at all during this critical time.

Glenwood Oaks is really an elegant restaurant to have dinner. The food is great, you get your money worth. The server we had was very nice and knowledgeable about the food and I Love all the nice background music. I was celebrating my Birthday. I had a awesome time. This was our first time here, and we were not disappointed. We went for lunch on a Tuesday at 1:00 pm, so it was not crowded. The staff was friendly, courteous, and very attentive. They were offering a buffet for $18 each, but we opted for menu items. We both started off with garden salads, then I had a 14 oz ribeye cooked medium well with veggies, baked potato, and a side order of fried shrimp. She had a porterhouse cooked medium with veggies and a baked sweet potato. Both steaks were juicy and very tender. We also had a lemon drop martini for her and a long island ice tea for me. The atmosphere, service, and food was great. The place was clean, including the restroom. We will definitely be returning. I highly recommend this place.

A family go to place for large birthday celebrations. The ribs are amazing. Actually, nobody complained about their food in our party of 30 or so. The service was great. We had one seasoned and one neophyte wait staffer. He was learning she was teaching and neither missed a beat!

Service was good, food wasn't. Everyone's steak was under cooked or over cooked. None of the food was hot.

We had a great time with great food , and great service! It was my Mom's 83rd Birthday Celebration, and it turned out really nice. We were given a decent price for 25 people to have the banquet. I recommend you try it!

Our server Paulette made our experience very enjoyable. We had the French onion soup which is the best we have had anywhere. The Glen Oaks burger was also delicious. The tables were too closed together and they only have one server until 3 pm but she was great even though she was super busy.

I had an excellent experience last evening at Glenwood Oaks Rib & Chop House. I attended a private party there. I was familiar with the quality of the food, but not the other amenities. First of all, there is plenty of free parking on their private lot, with handicap accessible spaces right at the door. The staff was genuine, friendly, and concerned about meeting the needs of their client. They were attentive to every table and guest. The space provided was ample, the tables were set appropriately, the decor was nice and went with the party theme, Harlem Nights. I can not suggest a single thing that they needed to improve upon. I highly recommend this place to host your private event.

The food was excellent!!! We both had Ribs. Superb. Appetizers were calamari and shrimp dejone - both cooked to perfection. Our waitress needed a little push (dropped down the food and left without asking if we needed anything else; like Tobasco or lemon) - BUT the manager made sure we were happy. Atmosphere cozy. Able to talk though busy. Nice bar area too. Highly recommend!

Food was excellent, service was the worst. Our server took over 30 minutes to take our drink order and then disappeared for another 30. We had to skip ordering an appetizer because we weren’t sure when she’d be back. She rushed taking our food order never asking how we wanted our meat cooked. We had to flag her down for drink refills. She brought our check before she even checked if we wanted dessert. AND to top it off, she wasn’t very friendly. The band in the lounge sounded good though.

We were disappointed that a place that is quite nice and charges a lot for meals is so stingy on exchanging/allowing alternate side dishes. Also, my husband's salad was low-quality - one cherry tomato sliced in half and a small amount of mixed greens that were not high quality. When you are paying $29 for a meal you should be able to switch out side dishes and have a very very nice salad. We also had to ask for things and dishes sat on the edge of the table for quite some time. Lastly, the ribs were low quality - not a lot of meat and hard crust.

Had a banquet there over the weekend. Won't be hosting a banquet there but will be back for their Ministrone soup. Staff was super friendly and quick to respond to the needs of their guests. Restroom was filthy and freezing. Food was cold.

First-rate vibes and super amiable service. The food was fresh and yummy. Will definitely recommend this place to my friends. Fair prices and generous portions. Good job.
